Scootering across LA is very pleasant. Nice afternoon warm sun in shorts and sandles. Also nice as LA isn't dense enough for walking. Too boring. But at 20 mph, there's about the right amount of visual stimulation.

To improve, you have to avoid over and under training. Overtrain and you get exhausted and annoyed at running. Undertrain and you never improve. You have to stay in the Goldilocks zone of regular increasing of intensity to reach anywhere close to your potential.
