This is a double blow for House Republicans. Peter STRZOK is scheduled to testify publicly Thursday and they wanted Page’s private testimony in hand as ammunition.

GOODLATTE says the House will use "all tools at our disposal" to get Page's testimony. That may mean an attempt to enforce the subpoena.pic.twitter.com/RjDxLqLLb8

She explains that they didn't follow policy so she's correct
-
Tell a judge that next you receive a subpoena. You can have a news conference about how unfair it was after he lets you out if prison.
-
Quite easy to get an appeal given she can prove they didn't follow policy Established in law to protect against this, hence why she's doing it
-
Show me the written policy that says an investigatorial body must show you their evidence so that you will comply with a legal subpoena???
-
-
You can try again if you like. I said to show me a case where the "investigatorial body" (investigators) have to show evidence to question a witness? You can't. Cops do it all the time.
-
This is for the actual hearing We're way past the questioning stage
-
It's a Congressional hearing. Not a judicial hearing. You really need to learn the difference.

This is facile. She's going be asked about text messages and emails she herself sent and received from other people. She's just spent over 7 months being grilled by the DOJ IG investigators on these very issues, so her playing dumb at this point is laughable.
-
General Flynn wasn't afforded those privileges.

Wow, it's almost like they set it up so she wouldn't comply which makes for better fundraising copy for Devin Nunes. How convenient.
-
Set it up? She’s been grilled by Horowitz for like 8 months. It’s HER TEXTS and behavior she needs to testify about. She doesn’t need any more time and she doesn’t get to blow off a subpoena

Give her the redacted version, and an extra 2 days. That should be enough!!!! Unbelievable privilege.
-
And it was unbelievable privilege when Flynn did refused a Senate subpoena, too, right? Flynn 1st declined to comply with a Senate subpoena in May, & did so again in September 2017. Republicans cheered.https://www.cnn.com/2017/09/12/politics/michael-flynn-senate-subpoena-refusal/index.html …
