Just watched the @PhillyD vid about @TeamYouTube finally admitting they deliberately send notifications to a subset of our subscribers. Not a stretch to assume that affects search and related promotion. Nice job digging our graves for us @YouTube

If what you said is true, then they lied or there is a bug. However, I'm going to put trust in what they say over anecdotal evidence. My own anecdotal evidence goes against what you've said so it all means nothing.

Sorry to go back into this, just had a thought. Notice how YouTube's response to this was to troubleshoot and try to fix it. They know how it's supposed to work. They didn't come back with "Yeah, there's an algorithm that does that." Again, only other option is they're lying.
