@TeamYouTube I'm still curious why I'm unable to turn off the bell on desktop.

We would like to help. Does this happen across browsers/devices? Also, you could try clearing the cache and cookies and see if that helps!

Multiple devices. Multiple browsers. Multiple accounts. Here's a quick clip of me doing it on Edge, a browser I've never used. There's never an option given to turn notification off completely. https://i.gyazo.com/8a34c73e525486adc8bab4b6c6adf8b1.mp4 …

And for any channels I have notifications turned off for, they are appearing as an empty bell icon on mobile, but a solid bell icon on dekstop.pic.twitter.com/QHZrikt5NH

Then when I viewed ACG's channel with the old layout just now, it had a solid bell icon and when I clicked on it it showed I was getting occasional notifications. Then I changed that to off (it works in the old layout) it went to empty icon. New layout stayed solid icon.

I hate to be a bother, but this is exactly what happened last time I brought this up. You responded to my first tweet, then I replied with evidence, then you went quiet. Is this a bug? Is this the way it's supposed to be? I need to know if it's something on my end or yours.
