Glasgow Labour supporting the SNP’s proxy independence motion today at full council. It’s amazing how much they work hand in glove once an election is over eh?

🔎 David Cameron won a majority government Boris Johnson won a majority government Nicola Sturgeon failed TWICE to win a majority government 📣 Neil Gray can spin all he wants but the reality is that Scotland would rather we focus on recovery, not a referendum.

This afternoon I've written to McVities in Tollcross about yesterday's devastating news on their proposed closure. The East End of Glasgow can't afford to lose this vital employer. The entire Glasgow Team will do all we can to protect these jobs 👇

Down at the McVitie's factory where the closure news has absolutely devastated local people. I'm willing to work with ANY politician, government, trade union, or business organisation to try and save these jobs. This is not the start to the recovery that Tollcross deserves.

Exciting catch up with council officials regarding this 👇 funding. Lot's of great ideas floating around and ready to be submitted. Glasgow has a lot to benefit from investment delivering on local priorities for our city 💪🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇬🇧

It was the tories fault that the SNP didn’t win a majority? Actually, for once I agree - it WAS our fault you didn’t get your majority! 😎😎

Having looked at the numbers, it appears helped the SNP keep a seat in the South of Scotland and deprived Labour of a seat. Slow clap to Galloway, Blackett and the others (especially the ones who blocked me for calling them out).
