    I’m astounded to see people still arguing “my site doesn’t need HTTPS” so I’ll put it simply: either spend a few mins putting it on your site now or continually explaining to your visitors why your site is not “not secure” until you end up doing it anyway. It’s not a negotiation.

    like that Vector Energy one they seem to focused on financial info and not understand what is actually PII and sensitive "the data accessed does not include bank details, pin numbers or information that would put customer finances directly at risk".

    Again why we need mandatory breach disclosure. And in Z's case they knew about it and didn't disclose. If we had MBD they'd be in deep shit legally right now and rightly so. (they covered it up)
