Unlike other job boards out there, I wanted to make sure the pricing model was fair for you—there are no upfront costs and you only pay a small percentage of what you make with it.

And while it's really simple to install for anyone, it was made with developers in mind! There’s a clean API for easy integration with whatever kind of site you have. Check out the docs here: https://api.seeker.company/v1/schema

Awesome and potentially a large business imo. Esp if you allow "backfilling jobs" if sites dont have enough jobs to show (own jobs can be highlighted - see remoteok) That way you create a job ad network across dozens of sites.
-
Funny enough, I had
@ProductHunt in my pipeline to reach out to earlier. :P But yeah, I definitely thought about that job ad network and backfilling. Still thinking about the best way of implementing it tbh. Or how to do so. The ad network part is hard kinda. -
Cause then you gotta split the profits amongst all sites and they aren't centralized, if that makes sense.
-
You maybe need to offer payment split by clicktraffic. Maybe ideally by conversion on the longer run.
-
Yeah...imo, that's a harder sell. With backfill and an ad network, it makes sense to me. But I could try and make that opt-in? Idk, tbh.
-
Yea. Why not. Any site that opens up jobs will feel bad of they dont have any. If you can bring thrm thats a service. They can choose what industries they want to feature
-
Yeah, I'm liking this. Gonna have to noodle on this a bit more. :)
-
awesome stuff - if you do this right you can also charge 0 for the job board (or maybe a flat fee monthly) and simply charge 50% for every job you bring

This is awesome. I've been thinking about building something like this myself and you've saved me a ton of time. How much front end design control will I have?
-
Thank you so much. Honestly, in my mind, I have this idea of theming in three stages. First stage is custom accent color support. Second stage is custom CSS support. Third stage is setting different layouts for your job board. :X
-
Now, with the API you have full control over how your job board looks in your site. But I know that's not ideal for everybody.
-
Got it. Yeah prob over my head. But I can start simple and grow with you!
-
If you need any help getting started, please let me know. Happy to hop on a video call / screen sharing session to help you out!

I'm excited about this. Would it be possible to make the links in the black header white?https://designsystems.seeker.company/
-
Hell yeah! Sorry about that, I added support for rendering links and forgot to include the CSS to fix that. Thanks for the reminder. :D
-
Awesome thanks! I was literally just looking at other jobs site platforms and this one appealed to me for its ease to set up. Thank you!
-
You're welcome, thank you for using it! Let me know if you have any questions, comments, or feedback. I'm only an email or a tweet away. :D
-
By the way, pushed up a fix for the links in the header. Should be deployed in around 10 mins or so. CI is mad slow, lol.
-
you're the best! Thanks!
