    I havent worked as an accountant but even sitting in my accounting classes I was impressed. I’m still consistently blown away that something like double entry accounting was popularized in the 15th century and is good enough that it’s still the way the world works.

    Love the data-driven improvements. Anecdotally it seems like businesses that have not focused on venture funding like and have had abnormally high employee retention; maybe not worrying about collecting equity or big liquidity events?
