  1. This is how things go sometimes, but I would like to thank everyone in the team for another intense season together. 4/4

  2. A shame to finish just outside of the points as the pace was there, but recovering from the 1st stint was very hard. The season as a whole was alright, we had some really good races, & others where we shoulda scored more points, but for one reason or another, it didn’t happen 3/4

  3. I think the key point was during the first stint: on the softs we expected the degradation to be on the rear but we finished the front tyres & when you've understeer you’re a sitting duck. I lost a couple of places to some key cars before the VSC which put me on the back foot 2/4

  4. It’s frustrating as I would have wanted to finish the season with a better result, but unfortunately today I got stuck in a train behind Vettel and that cost a lot of time. 1/4

  5. I think that’s probably the best Quali lap of my life! I’m very happy with today, it feels great to put it together here as it’s a long track with many corners. I’ll enjoy the feeling for another hour or so. Then, my focus will turn to tomorrow’s race.💪🏻

  6. The conditions between FP1 and FP2 were quite different and, as usual, the second practice session is much more representative for Quali and the race, so hopefully we can find these extra tenths tonight to get it completely right for tomorrow. 2/2

  7. We managed to learn something about the car today and did a good number of laps, but I didn’t feel like we’ve got everything right, so we’ll do our homework tonight and understand what we can do to improve for tomorrow. 1/2

  9. I quite like Yas Marina,it’s a nice modern facility, although maybe it has too many run-off areas for my liking, nevertheless it’s very technical, especially the last sector. It has some good straights & well placed DRS zones so you can usually have some fun there

  10. We did everything right today as a team, I had a perfect Quali yesterday, I drove really well for an almost perfect race today and I’m very happy with my performance. It was a strongly executed race and the best weekend of the year for me. 2/2 🇧🇭

  11. This was a very good weekend for me and I was hoping for an even better result today - when the safety car came out I thought ‘this isn’t great timing for us’ but still, 7th is not bad. 1/2 🇧🇭

  12. We're starting from a competitive position. It'll be important to have a solid race, the traffic & tyre management will be interesting, so we’ll do our best dealing with that. Our pace looks competitive, so hopefully, we can carry the momentum into tmrw 2/2

  13. I’m very happy as it was a great session, I would say it’s my best Qualy of the year. It was very tricky out there with the traffic in the beginning. In Q3 I put in a very tidy lap, kept it clean & cool, and I’m quite proud of myself & how I drove today 1/2

  14. It was quite a standard Friday, we managed to complete all of our programme for today and worked through it pretty well. It was a new track to learn but I think we were quite OK out there. 🇧🇭

  15. I’ve not had an opportunity to use the simulator to assess the new circuit which we will use for the second Bahrain race, so it means we will have to improvise a bit and see what we can squeeze out of the car. It will be a case of learning quickly. 🇧🇭

  16. On the race restart I had an incident with Stroll. I was fully on the inside of him and even if I think saw me he chose to turn in like I wasn’t there. I put my whole car on the inside of the kerb and there wasn’t much more I could have done. 2/2 🇧🇭

  17. To finish P11 is super frustrating. On the opening lap, I was a bit angry at first with Romain for his move, but then I was just worried about him because I saw the flames and how bad the crash was - I was just hoping he was OK. 1/2 🇧🇭

  18. Nevertheless, it was a strong Qualifying and puts us in a good position to have a strong race. The tyres suffer a lot around here, so it will be different from what we’ve experienced so far this year.  Tomorrow will certainly be an interesting challenge. 2/2

  19. Q2 was very solid, we had one shot with a different compound & we took it, there was quite a bit of pressure on us, but we managed. I wasn’t too happy with my Q3 lap, as I made a couple of mistakes & maybe we took a slightly wrong direction with the front wing 1/2

  20. It was an interesting day, in FP1 I wasn’t too happy with the car balance, but we improved quite well for FP2. I think we understood the direction we needed to take, so it was a positive result. 🇧🇭
