FB's timing on these kinds of updates tends to be spot on. e.g. This update comes the same morning as Mueller report...I'm sure most people won't notice.

If memory serves, this is a common theme. Facebook reveals a number of victims, and after all the reporting is done, they reveal a much larger number of victims.
