..again, viruses dont adapt to what you want. They dont adapt to what's convenient. They dont adapt to anything involving you. If there's a host, they infect, they destroy. Thats all they do. We all WANT kids back at school. But long-term physical & emotional damage awaits them

The Trump model - make believe it will go away, order States to open schools by threat and then take no responsibility for the outcome when its bad. e will say the States opened the schools not him he doesn't have the authority.

I'm a nurse at a 1,700 student HS in So. Cal. We're preparing to open with a traditional model. I do not have a good feeling about this. Last year, pre-COVID, within a week of opening, I was sending kids home with the flu. It started with 1 and grew exponentially.
I second this emotion. Every flu season, I'm swamped with obviously sick children. WTH am I going to do now?
