    I feel like that's prob still around to some extent, but people often fawned over their collection of "private collections" of curated orchestral samples, and it left this bad taste of elitism in my mouth. Anyway some of my fave instrumental samples are from the SNES & PS1 🤷‍♀️

    Some added context to this: when I was just starting in the games industry, there was so much perceived scorn over "commercial libraries" used to write music. Even after spending near-thousands of dollars, you could be made to feel insignificant compared to The Ones That Made It
