Right on, man. You follow me, I presume, because I share my opinion on things. Don’t like it? Fair enough. Ignore the stuff you don’t agree with or unfollow me. No skin off my back.
-
That was for him more than you. I follow because I like movies and your writing.

Hitler comparisons are disrespectful to millions of people, both troops and civilians alike. It’s low-hanging, inaccurate fruit meant to rile up the uneducated.
-
I studied Nazi Germany in college. The holocaust didn’t start overnight. There were 10 years of gradual changes that led to it. So read up about it. What I was stating actually had nothing to do with opinions. It’s a fact that Hitler focused on crimes by Jews.
-
So, ironically, perhaps you should educated about Nazi Germany and the conditions that led to it.
-
I studied it myself. I’m also a career police officer who understands the need for verification at the border when it involves children. There is no comparison that can be made between the two. Stopping human trafficking is all that matters.
-
You and I don’t have enough common ground as people to continue this conversation. We see people and the world in fundamentally different ways. Where you see “human trafficking” I see people risking everything for better lives for themselves and their families. Goodbye.

This is not a proper comparison. Jews were legal citizens of Germany. Not illegal immigrants into a sovereign nation. Also, nobody intends to kill them. They intend to send them back to their legal country. Not the same.
-
Not a proper comparison? They seek to scapegoat an entire race based on the false notion that Mexican and Central American migrants are dangerous or a drag on the economy, and the way they do that is by highlighting the worst crimes committed by undocumented immigrants in an (c)
-
(c) attempt to create the impression that this is the norm. It is literally straight out of the Nazi handbook. Just because Trump literally isn’t Hitler does not mean that he’s immune from comparing the tactics used to create fear and confusion.
-
Not “scapegoating” and entire RACE. This is not a race issue. Legal migrants are not targeted. This is all directed at illegally entering people. And before it’s said, I’m not Anti immigrant. I work with immigrants daily. Some of the hardest working people I know.
-
It’s directed at brown people dude. If you haven’t picked up on that yet, I have no interest in explaining why that is.
-
Did I miss something and that has been said in policy. To my knowledge there is not policy directed at brown people. Who it’s happening to and the color of their skin are not always one and the same.
-
Really? Then why is it only happening at our southern border while pregnant Russian women are coming here to have their babies without a problem? How about those of Asian descent? He’s totally targeting a race!
-
He's not targeting a race. He is starting to try and secure our most serious illegal immigration problem first. It's the southern border. That's where drugs, illegals, and children are being trafficked into this country from. You really can't understand that?

The Nazi comparison is outright wrong. Everyone should be against separation of families & everyone should also support legal immigration. Also asylum is a legal immigration. But highlighting crimes by immigrants is not what the Nazis did with jews. It's a wrong comparison.
-
A) this is after Nazis gain power by falsely claiming that Jews were responsible for ww1 loss & economic disaster. B) after Nazis came to power they immediately gain control of the press as well to spread their propoganda, which is not the case now.

"falsely" yeah who was running the breakaway communist states inside Germany at the end of WWI while German troops were trying to fight their last major offensive? Go ahead and google it for me. Who was running the People's State of Bavaria and the Bavarian Soviet Republic?
