Ok, Shatner could have been clearer. I took 1/4 to be a rate, I would hope Shatner isn't so ignorant that he didn't know Finland has significant less population than the US. Finland (53.7 per 10,000 or 0.5% ) and the US (1 in 59 children today. 1.7%) approx 4 times greater.

Here in the UK research was carried out and the theory of vaccinations causing autism was debunked. The National Autistic Society strongly advises parents to immunise their children stating that there is no link between vaccinations and Autism.
