Agreed! This is extremely sad but Mauritania is very rich in oil & they have the resources to help their own people. This is what corrupt government leads to. Gov. officials are appointed to take care of their own people first. That’s why we have separate countries for.
It’s not selfish to rebuild your own country before sending aid to others

Example: I am the breadwinner of my family whom I have to feed. Why would I feed the neighbors family before my own? That's what America 1st is. I don't know why people cannot grasp that concept. It's actually quite basic.
