I overheard a 7-year-old complaining to her mom about having to mask. Few kids mask at my kids' school. Her mom kept telling her, “You don’t mind wearing a mask. It’s been 2.5 years, and you are used to it.” Emotional invalidation on top of harmful forced masking.
