    So, just to get this straight, it's fine if the entire media calls out the NRA for an event they had nothing to do with, but terrible if the president calls out the individual PAID TO PROTECT STUDENTS when he cowers in silence?

    The shooting response is a serious failure, but there's something unsettling about the president using a speech to mock an ordinary person who's living with his shame amid universal condemnation

    I watched the CNN Townhall and ultimately, I left most disappointed with the lack of diversity of opinion amongst the students. Some like were more concerned about “creating good TV” than having a substantive discussion. Saddening.

    Having a gun in my childhood home saved my single mom and I from intruders.

    Women are overwhelmingly hurt by guns, not helped. More domestic violence murders are committed with guns than with all other weapons combined. A huge risk factor for abused women is whether or not there's a gun in the home.
