    So sad to hear this news, and so so grateful to have had the chance to learn from and be inspired by Lani. As she did for countless others, she changed the course of my life from law school on. She us how to imagine a better democracy with joy, fire, and strategic clarity.

    Lani Guinier was the first African-American woman to be tenured and a monumental presence at Harvard Law School. She devoted her life to justice, equality, empowerment, and democracy.

    In 2017, Congress authorized over-the-counter hearing aid sales, but the previous Administration didn't issue the rules needed to start those sales. ' Competition EO set a November deadline for the rules. Today, FDA released them ahead of schedule:
