will they replace my mac on the spot? They may not have my hardware available. I'm going with keyboard + screen + battery issues
-
Probably not tbf. I don't think they had my US keyboard in stock so they had to order it in
-
aaaand I have iPadPro, and I hope they replace the unit on the spot too ;)
-
The iPad Pro needs to be fixed too or?

just go to authorized 3rd party. if Apple declared the issue is free, it will be free
-
I know it will be free, and it will take 4weeks per item

Try going to authorized service centers like Gravis or Comspot. No need to wait or appointments there.
-
I do that (that's the only option here where I live) however it takes few weeks and they keep my computer for the time
-
We went to CTDI Repair Lounge (Meinekestraße 4, 10719 Berlin near) last week and they repaired two Macbooks within 3 days. 2 months earlier I went to Gravis and it took 5 weeks.

To be honest I manage 30 new MBP at my company, only 1 had keyboard issues
I know 30 ain’t much though. To have an appointment I always go through JointVenture. Perks of company account \o/ -
I was happy for a long time, maybe because I use external keyboard most of the time however, just recently my "/" and "Enter" keys got flaky

A. I couldn't get a time in Apple Store while living in Berlin 2 months. B. They won't fix unless it's bought in Germany, at least that was said to me.
-
B. Seriously?!
I thought Apple support is worldwide and it doesn’t matter where you bought the hardware.

I guess you have to check it every now and then. I got an appointment for the same day last weekend. Try early in the morning. The repair (unrelated to keyboard) took one working day.
