The state can't dictate when schools reopen, but schools have largely followed state guidance so far. This is interim guidance to help them prepare for returning in the fall

But there's no plan for schools to reopen next week.

Trying to determine if Ghaly contradicted Newsom, who suggested that nail salon guidance would be available today. And why is Dine-In Restaurants, Hair Salons and Barbershops and now Casinos guidance buried on "county variance info" part of website, not with other industries?

I'm not sure how they decide where to put things on the site. Nail salon guidance is definitely not part of what they put out today though. Ghaly told me they are still working on it.
