There's actually no record of Woodrow Wilson ever addressing the pandemic publicly. He ignored it to focus on the war.

Just finished reading it myself! The descriptions of the impact at Camp Devens and Philly are the stuff of nightmares. “America’s Forgotten Pandemic” by Alfred Crosby is a great compliment to it for a more American focus and has great data tables.
