Good questions from @ZavalaA and @philwillon on discrepancies in memo from police chiefs saying ALL state parks and beaches would be closed and Newsom's announcement today that he'll only close OC beaches. He suggests the chiefs were wrong.
AP, and likely others, did ask Newsom's office about that memo last night and got no response.
I meant *all* beaches in the state in earlier tweet, not just state-run beaches
