      Last night I hung out with @lyzl. It was great for a variety of reasons, not least of which was how she, Matrix-like, instantly downloaded into my brain all of the gossip about the goings on Cedar Rapids. Mostly importantly, I learned about this thing called “newbo evolve.”

      “Newbo evolve” was this sort of fancy South by Southwest festival that the Cedar Rapids tourism bureau was going to put on in 2018. You can tell this is going to be a good story because this is how the local paper starts its story about what happened.pic.twitter.com/ohvZ2tLb8v

      Time has gone by. Wounds have not fully healed. But newbo evolve continued to slowly recede into history.
