If you have enough dogs and cats, they'll generally take care of any squirrel issues you might have. At least mine do. But I've never thought of sharing a photo of their "gifts" to me. Gotta wonder why someone would do that, but hey, whatever....

I've gotta think the punishment is not so much for shooting a squirrel as for the extremely questionable judgment of thinking you need to share a photo of a dead animal. Unless he was posed next to it, on one knee, in full safari gear with a long gun. That would be pretty funny.

The legislative committee was a Fish and Game Committee. In addition, he broke the law by shooting it out of season. Probably shot too close to his house as well. What a dope.
