“Obsession with abortion” is Rev. Rodriguez’s phrase. I believe the Democratic Party’s actual obsession is with “right to choose,” which isn’t the same thing. Right to choose also acknowledges a woman’s right to *not* abort, should her religious beliefs so compel her.
