Yep. Lap swimming early morn TDY at Ft Bragg 10 yrs back or so; SEALS lap swimming as well with multiple swimmers per lane. Asked them to swim around if faster. Swam over me; knew they would. Comic relief.

Neither height nor military service makes you automatically qualified to become a member of Congress. Hopefully there are other skills and experiences they can bring to the legislative and oversight roles and responsibilities that come with this job.
