    So excited to have a kindergartener at HGE.

    Halls of Hazel Grove getting a facelift. These floors add so much to our beautiful school. Grateful for the support of LSR7. Our kids will be so excited when they come back in August!

    Tonight my class celebrated their friendships with their playgroup friends at the POOL! Friendships are life changing for everyone, but especially for those with autism.

    MIX IT UP LUNCH at HGE!! Our CARE Crew (student diversity team) is leading this event. Students are sorted by super heroes and then eat and chat with new friends.

    A5: Remember to give educators voice and choice so their learning can be personalized like we are trying to do with our students. I loved the learning from our EdCamp days and our collaborations with other schools.

    A1. Being involved in district-wide PD planning was a great experience! PDC is full of amazing leaders, and I learned a lot about communication, organization, logistics, and best practices.

    We throw too many new teachers into the deep end. A gradual release model could keep many from drowning.

    "When it rains look for rainbows!" This was the focus of a morning positive mindset check in with a student. I had the same conversation with my son last night. "The storm is ok, because it makes puddles." How could I not let him enjoy the puddles this morning?

    Love this idea. May have to steal it. Curious about what's under each shirt.

    The Countdown to Summer Break is ON. Everyone decorated a t-shirt with their classroom number. We will turn over a shirt each day to reveal a fun activity. Tomorrow...indoor classroom picnic! 🧺 🐝

    When a child loses his father and is exhibiting explosive reactions to minor requests we can serve as an intervention of support by simply giving hugs and breathing with the child. Punishing grief is incomprehensible.
