Spitballing: - Give her $50 to buy books on science that she chooses. - Get her a telescope. - Fun experiments! (basic: baking soda + vinegar fills balloon w/ gas. Advanced: electrolyse water, then make a small rocket with the hydrogen -- dangerous! But kids love explosions.)

Love this one!! It was my favorite science experiment as a kid: I'd trigger the reaction inside a "volcano" (papier-mâché, I think), because I thought they were so cool.
