I wonder how many children's meals could be paid for if everyone tweeting about child hunger in Britain could afford to donate whatever they spent on their own food in a day to the charity @MarcusRashford supports : @FareShareUK

I wonder how much could be paid with our taxes.

I pay my taxes so children don't go hungry but the tories would rather give my taxes to their mates who already have more than enough wealth.

Maybe if everyone tweeting didn't vote for #toryscum at the next election?

I did donate to my local scheme to feed children during the holidays. But I shouldn't have to donate. That is what I pay tax for.

I think the point is that we've already paid. With our taxes. To be used domestically, and not to take part in proxy wars, or under-the-table deals. Surprised to see this from you, Krishnan. Unless you're playing 4D chess here.

Whilst I have done, that's what I pay taxes for Krishnan. So that nobody in the UK is destitute, homeless or hungry. If we forget that, we forget the whole point.

I would absolutely. I have, in the past. But what sticks in my craw is the billions spent on Serco test and track which is failing so completely whilst actual children in actual England in actual 2020 are going to go hungry NEXT WEEK.

I dare say that many donate either food or money, or both, to local food banks. This is about the principles of “our” Government. Btw, C4News is my go to station.
