are the docs / examples on http://kotlinlang.org regarding KotlinJS up to date? The gradle section shows "Last Updated 4 November 2016" Want to take KotlinJS for a spin again, especially with Coroutine support being in there.

Could this async/await thing be like a functional interface called Suspendable Interface which could give more flexibility to be implemented and called the regular way.

This is not an async await thing, this is non blocking functions that we call suspend(ing) functions in Kotlin. Asynchronous work is something different where you trade the sequential behavior explicitly to do things in parallel.
