"Human rights" weren't developed by white people. The Universal Declaration was actually authored by PC Chang, and the ICCPR and ICESCR were debated in the post-colonial context. If anything, Human Rights, at its core, was a response to (white) colonialism & oppression.
Second, in saying that all human beings are "born free", it doesn't force on us a creationist construct. Whether or not you believe there is a Creator, the fact is that we are all born, and born free.

Actually, and obviously, it's not a guarantee. All of them – including modern human rights and any laws, even when they invoke divine inspiration – are merely abstract ideas codified by fallible men, that nations have pledged, but failed, to live by.
