"Human rights" weren't developed by white people. The Universal Declaration was actually authored by PC Chang, and the ICCPR and ICESCR were debated in the post-colonial context. If anything, Human Rights, at its core, was a response to (white) colonialism & oppression.
Do I really have to point out the difference between "All men are created equal" and "All human beings are born free and equal in their dignity and rights"?

First of all, Human Rights actually recognizes that "all men" [sic] are NOT "created equal" [sic]. They are only equal in their dignity and rights. We are all, in fact, born into different circumstances which make us unequal. It is a very important recognition.

Second, in saying that all human beings are "born free", it doesn't force on us a creationist construct. Whether or not you believe there is a Creator, the fact is that we are all born, and born free.
