Yeah we also often use in place of 'mbak' in shops, cafes etc even tho it is considered slightly more informal.

Yes tuan and nyonya quite common in Medan too from Bahasa Minang. My landlord from Padang always used to call me "Nyonya" which I think sounds so pretty :D

Hahahha true! In my village (Toraja) they call “cewe” for girls but its not polite. I mean they use it when they have a problem with a girl or something like that. For me its negative use that word
