Due to greed & rabid capitalism there's a new trend in tower construction in the Gulf States of designing cramped, windowless spaces as maid's rooms. In reality they are more like dungeons. There should be a law that sets a minimum room size & window opening in any "maid's room."
Could it be because Gulf property owners are too poor to afford decent (i.e. humane) accommodation for their maids?
Or is it because they treat humans as property?
