I'm guessing from the tweets you had a bad take on censorship only to then be censored.

Crowder isn’t censored, his videos are still up. He just can’t monetize them, and if that’s the real issue, then his problem is his grift doesn’t make him rich enough, not that his content is actually being censored. This is an actual takedown. Hope I cleared up your confusion.

I wasn't referring to Crowder. I was referencing everyone else who was demonetized and content removed. Journalist crusades always lead to this. It's not about offensive content. It's about getting rid of competition from new media. Hope I cleared things up as well.

Crowder isn't 'competition' though. His audience of racist, 14 year olds boys with anime profile pictures aren't ever going to pick up an actual newspaper.

Exactly. Crowder's half-witted rants aren't a threat to journalism. His disinformation and normalizing of shit like this is though.

Yeah, he's a twatt and a martyr now aswell. Attacking his AdSense doesn't achieve a bloody thing. If anything it'll make his audience inclined to support him financially elsewhere don't worry about the fact that this whole drama has put more eyes on his "half witted rants".

Elaborate? I shared my perspective. If you disagree, that's fine but explain why rather than giving me some half arsed sniddy remark.

Remember Milo? He's broke now and begs for the money he used to grift off of. Deplatforming works, it renders them irrelevant.

I personally find there are more examples of it entrenching people in their opinions rather than dismantling them

The only people able to change their opinions are they themselves. You can plant some seeds, but they have to go the way alone. The only thing the society can do is try to limit the harm those guys are causing.
