Imma be real with you I don’t think an argument can even be made that Maul’s return cheapened his character or ruined anything that came before as you could for Palpatine. The Clone Wars did nothing but enrich the character of Maul and justify his place in the galaxy.
I really hope XV3 has some crazy what-if timelines where wacky shit goes down like pride trooper ginyu, kale fights broly in ToP, gowasu's godtube channel takes off. Less "this character is strong now go fight him" & more dealing with bizarre consequences for tiny changes.
