I don’t know the context behind it but I agree with others that
@chesaboudin is the vessel that is allowing this behavior. I can’t imagine Newsom, Bernie Sanders and Rev. Sharpton supporting this person but they do because it’s about politics than the safety of people2 replies 3 retweets 41 likes -
It's because they understand that safety has to do with something other that a even more pervasive oppressive and brutal
#PoliceState. They know that safety is more about services, than civil rights abuses, they stand for the people instead of for the state.21 replies 0 retweets 2 likes -

Bay Area born here and you’re nuts. Your air headed platitudes aren’t rooted in data, they’re rooted in ideology. Cops in the US interact with the public 50 MILLION times a year w 1,022 fatal shootings in 2020. Police violence isn’t a cause. It’s a statistical anomaly.

First of all… calling “Sociology” a science is a reach, so spare me. Secondly, the data point I provided is easy to find. Your leftist nonsense is rooted in confirmation bias/cognitive dissonance. I used to be you. Then I woke up. Use google.

Where can someone find an unbiased, peer reviewed “sociological” study when less than 4% of sociology professors in the academy identify as conservative? It’s impossible to achieve balanced, thoughtful outcomes in environments where there is no dissent.

There are reasons for that, there are no conservative sociologists, because the scientific study of sociology shows its students how backwards, and dangerous republican policies are. There is no scientific basis whatsoever for tougher on crime policies.https://twitter.com/equalityAlec/status/1394697951868604416 …

When you make comments like this, you only get more resources for cops, and more violence in poor communities and communities of color. I hope you'll learn more.4 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
Conservatives are too busy getting in STEM and Business school. We can do that because our grades and test scores don’t relegate us to second tier majors, where people who also were limited to second tier majors and were unemployable outside academia, became career academics.
