    My stepdaughter asked for $5 for the “Feel-Good Day” sundae they’d get to buy at school lunch today. If that “$5 sundae” isn’t a personal-size pint of Häagen-Dazs-quality ice cream with a spoon in it I’m going to want answers and a receipt.

    Sorry, regardless of how you feel about any specific team, how can you possibly feel good being the team favored in that call? I don’t even watch that much baseball and that was one of the most unsettling calls I’ve seen.

    (And yes I know I basically ceded my right to parental coddling the day after the baby was born.)

    One of those sick days where you wish your parents lived in the same city so one of them could come over to “help watch the baby” but secretly also be here to coddle you instead.
