Also ironic: the algorithm flagged the word “hell” and flagged this theological commentary in relation to a job... teaching theology...

The especially creepy part is this didn't turn up anything at all relevant or incriminating! I keep personal info on my non-public accounts. But their shitty algorithm means that my "reputation" and "character" is flagged as questionable and sent to my boss.

I had to get a background check for my job, and it turns out the report is a 300+ page pdf of every single tweet I’ve ever liked with the work “fuck” in it. Enjoy your dystopian bs! *waves*

A quick thread about what is/isn't "appropriate" in a sanctuary. I spend an inordinate time of my rabbinate telling parents that their kids are welcome in our sacred space, and here's why:

Huge news: We have reached an agreement to purchase . Wedgewood will negotiate in good faith w/ the Oakland Community Land Trust () to purchase the Magnolia Street home for "a price not to exceed the appraised value." This is what happens when we organize, y'all.

. cofounder Misty Cross, who was evicted at gunpt, says and Wedgewood need to apologize for the trauma they put the moms through. "Ask our mayor what changed her heart. We're still hurting, there's still pain here. We were taken to jail, dragged out"
