Berkeley is a strange and sometimes wondrous place.
I just had the 𝙥𝙞𝙯𝙯𝙖 𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙜𝙪𝙮 recognize me and ask a bunch of Haskell questions as we sat on the deck and ate said pizza. 
10/10 will order again

It was way less socially awkward to rip the top off the box to use as plates and offer him some while we chatted than to either stand around with my pizza getting cold, or to scarf it down in front of him. Screw the social contract. Service industry folks are people too.

I can confirm that neither the Lambda Man nor
@odersky have to deliver pizza these days.
Well, I don't think times are 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 tough at @InputOutputHK and@lightbend, anyways.

My favorite alternate-world "Good Will Hunting"-grade explanation is this person is a fantastically fast study who google-stalks everybody from their receipts, bones up quickly on whatever he finds and chats with them awkwardly at the door about it hoping for a good tip.
