If the Ds do in fact win both Georgia races, only 6 of the 100 senators will represent states their party did not carry in the 2020 presidential race.

That's one of the biggest changes in the Senate of the last 20 years. There used to be sizeable numbers of Sens representing states won by the Presidential candidate of the other party: Hollings, Baucus, Santorum, Chafee, Lincoln (AR)...the list goes on.
