Can we stop pretending like diets in 2019 are any different than old diets just because they have been repackaged for health? Keto is Atkins WW Freestyle is still Weight Watchers Intermittent Fasting is just skipping meals Low carb is the new low fat & they all still don’t work

It’s gonna be a late night here in NV. I’m an eternal optimist so I remain excited and energized. A record-breaking 70% of registered voters in Washoe County (Reno) showed up. Inspired!

Maybe he was too drunk to remember attempting to rape a classmate, but she seems to remember it pretty clearly. Victims will always remember their assault in more detail and with more trauma than the person who assaulted them. DUH.

I AM PART OF THE WHISPER NETWORK. We exist to support those who cannot come forward, or who are still gathering the courage to do so, and we are often their only reliable support.

I AM PART OF THE WHISPER NETWORK And, yes, when given permission, we whisper that information along to help others avoid being victimized. Whisper networks don't exist to "out" harassers (as much as we would like to!), and certainly not to "out" victims.

I AM PART OF THE "WHISPER NETWORK" Whisper networks aren't petty gossip rings, but groups of people loosely connected by the fact that we listen without judgment when our friends have been humiliated, harassed, and/or assaulted by more powerful people.

Why use use sexist and misogynistic language in Nov 28 issue, referring to the vs game as "two ugly girls fighting"? What century are you in? Still an ? Do you respect UNR women and girls? Or just the pretty ones?

@RenoPublicRadio have you asked about their sexist language? Seems like the wrong century to describe the + game as "two ugly girls fighting." Objectifying women (we're not girls!) as a joke is disrespectful and sad!
