I’ve (reportedly) been blacklisted from my local NPR station, which is kind of odd considering I got my start in public radio and listen to it for about 20 hours a day. But conservatives—who I actually disagree with!—are more than willing to speak with me.

One more thing about this... I think there’s a real fear of guilt by association on the left. So even if producers actually are interested in dissenting views, they’re scared of getting reamed on Twitter for platforming the baddies. And I can’t blame them.

This happened at my old job. A colleague complained about me and told our boss her “community” was demanding that she quit because they wouldn’t fire me. The pressure to conform is real.

In fairness, you are a lot more useful to conservative commentators than liberal ones. Liberal podcasts are more likely than conservative ones to invite your bizarro conservative doppelganger who critiques the cancel culture of the right.
