    Well, now not only is there Roller Girl (available in Spanish AND English), but there is a new series of short novels called The Derby Daredevils by . I’d love to add these to my library for the kids who read Roller Girl and say, “That was great. What’s next?” (2)

    This is giving me FEELINGS. If my book (about a kid who wants to be biggest, openly gay country music superstar) feels a little more dated by the time it comes out, I will be VERY cool with that. There's PLENTY of room for queer artist in country music. It's about time!🤠🌈
