Not keen on the idea of her going in a tuxedo, I'd rather they took a chance to show her femininity rather than making her more masculine.

I happen to think a well-tailored tuxedo looks awesome (and feminine) on a woman. I happen to think the ruffled or pleated shirt of a tuxedo and a bow (tie) is effeminate.
