Ireland & Denmark both repeated Referendums on EU Treaties after a few tweaks & public information campaign to explain what it meant. There was a change of heart & political direction. Both remain full mature democracies. UK needs #PeoplesVote now for #InformedConsent to Brexit!

But
and
have mature and honest media and newspapers.
needs to develop this tradition. (Excepting the excellent three: The Guardian, the I, and the FT.) -
Yes I agree the pro Brexit bias of
media is of the deepest concern. -
And it’s not only in respect of Brexit that
needs serious newspaper and media improvement (except the excellent FT, Guardian and the I). Why give airtime to fraudsters like the “IEA” and “ERG”? They do not provide balance. They provide only scandalous lies... -
True and a tragic deficiency in balanced and objective journalism. The BBC should have led the way for past two years but is fixed on inflexible view Brexit is a done deal and irreversible.

Giving people a vote on the country's future is so undemocratic, isn't it?

#PeoplesVote with an#OptionToRemain: * the ONLY democratic way forward * the ONLY acceptable outcome * the ONLY solution for our divided country#DontBackTheBrexitDeal#InformedConsent#StopBrexit@peoplesvote_uk@jeremycorbyn@Keir_Starmer@UKLabour@ConservativesThanks. Cambridge Analytica. Arron Banks. Electoral fraud. £350M to the NHS. The ONLY thing that will restore faith in the electoral system and democracy is a second referendum with an option to remain.

Sorry but Jeremy Hunt has always talked nonsense, it's just got worse now he thinks there might be an opportunity to be the next Tory leader.

I didn’t notice anyone arguing that a referendum in 2016 would be undemocratic because we had one on the same subject in 1975.
-
I didn't ask for a referendum the vote was democratic but people missinformed on what the vote would mean Is leaving the EU make us better off Make you better off This is an idiotoic project by the Tory party Brexit is a fools errand

Dear Jeremy, it’s LITERALLY the definition of democracy, especially after your mate Dave botched the opinion poll that caused this mess, with neither informed choice nor supermajority. Couple of small things you forgot about that wafer thin “mandate”

What would be damaging to democracy would be no 2nd Referendum taking place. Same question based on a wholly different set of facts, as opposed to
@BorisJohnson conjecture & hyperboleThanks. Twitter will use this info to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
