Everyone thinks that Big Tech layoffs are a sign of tech industry decline.
I think it's simply good course correction -- an incredible opportunity to fix and reset culture.
What emerges is hungrier and stronger -- not sadder and in decline as the media is portraying.

I've never seen so many get-rich-quick buzzwords in one ad π
The treasure chest is cool though.

Watching the Bernie Madoff series on Netflix.
βI found articles about him in magazine and the so I took that as this guy is goodβ
It seems we never learn that press is often more about what people want you to think about them, than the truth.

I think about this all the time. We all live in our own little bubbles really.

ChatGPT is definitely going to help marketers make more content, more often. It's incredible.
But with more content also comes more activity on everyones feed. Meaning it won't really solve the problem of standing out.
And that really is the only way to win at marketing π€

You can now launch a referral program without writing a line of code too (it works by connecting your CRM).
Looking forward to 2023 π

Charlie Munger turns 99 today! He's taught the world so much with his direct approach to life. This is one of his quotes that hit home for me a few years back π
"Knowing what you don't know is more useful than being brilliant".
Forever grateful for that lesson π

Salesforce is ceding the startup CRM market to HubSpot
Does it matter?
Maybe not. Salesforce is focused on $100m+ deals, and SFA/CRM is a minority of their revenue
Perhaps theyβll still get them when they cross $50m, $100m ARR
But maybe someday, they β¦ wonβt anymore

Not all startup successes are made overnight.
In fact most are not.

Build integrations or get certified as a service provider - customers often look for new tools or services INSIDE the app stores of the current products they use... searching doesn't always start on Google π

Ask your current customers to #SpreadTheWord about your business. It really is the easiest way to turn one customer into two. If you don't already have a referral program, 2023 is the year to launch one π£

You canβt do SEO quickly, but you can buy it. See what lists and articles already rank for your top keywords and buy the top spots. CPC rates are higher than google ads, but the quality of leads are too π

Organic reach on Twitter is better than I thought.
Many people are reading. Few are engaging or posting though.
Iβve found that the tweeting muscle works like all others. The less you flex it the harder it is to get back into it!
