Everyone thinks that Big Tech layoffs are a sign of tech industry decline. I think it's simply good course correction -- an incredible opportunity to fix and reset culture. What emerges is hungrier and stronger -- not sadder and in decline as the media is portraying.

Watching the Bernie Madoff series on Netflix. β€˜I found articles about him in magazine and the so I took that as this guy is good’ It seems we never learn that press is often more about what people want you to think about them, than the truth.

I think about this all the time. We all live in our own little bubbles really.

ChatGPT is definitely going to help marketers make more content, more often. It's incredible. But with more content also comes more activity on everyones feed. Meaning it won't really solve the problem of standing out. And that really is the only way to win at marketing πŸ€”

ChatGPT knows what it's talking about πŸ₯° You can now launch a referral program without writing a line of code too (it works by connecting your CRM). Looking forward to 2023 πŸš€

Charlie Munger turns 99 today! He's taught the world so much with his direct approach to life. This is one of his quotes that hit home for me a few years back πŸ‘‡ "Knowing what you don't know is more useful than being brilliant". Forever grateful for that lesson πŸ‘

8/8 And don’t forget… the best marketing in the world can’t sell a shit product or service (for long). Make sure what you’re marketing is something people actually want or need in 2023 πŸ™πŸ»

7/8 Build integrations or get certified as a service provider - customers often look for new tools or services INSIDE the app stores of the current products they use... searching doesn't always start on Google πŸ˜‰

5/8 You can’t do SEO quickly, but you can buy it. See what lists and articles already rank for your top keywords and buy the top spots. CPC rates are higher than google ads, but the quality of leads are too πŸ‘€

Acquiring new customers is harder than ever. Marketing budgets are shrinking and competition is heating up πŸ”₯ You’ll need to do something different to get ahead in 2023. These are my biggest marketing lessons that I'll carry forward into 2023. 🧡 time...

Organic reach on Twitter is better than I thought. Many people are reading. Few are engaging or posting though. I’ve found that the tweeting muscle works like all others. The less you flex it the harder it is to get back into it!
