Or visual studio in general, where it feels like stability and performance continously decrease while they're busy making unwanted refucktorings like the new start screen

For years I was one of the oddballs finding VS very stable and had little problems with it. Not anymore. Not even close.

IMHO a lot of issues would deserve a bit more description or even some first thought about the algorithm to help people who never worked on/with Roslyn to get started.

And this, this is why every release, especially every major release, I spend a large amount of time auditing and fixing issues. Bugs always get higher priority. Don't build a fragile tower.
