dj mutuals.. QUESTION: do you prepare your tracks ahead of time/ preset cues? or do you wing it on the spot? if you wing it, how long did it take you to get to that point?

A lot of DJs have half a dozen “sets” of 3-4 songs that transition together well and will just stitch those together throughout a set. Otherwise if you know the track it’s easy to wing it
to add to this, a lot of the time for winging it, if you really like the first 16 counts of a phrase to transition you can always just loop the next 16 counts in house songs
