My aspie self likes this tweet but the community doesn’t recognize aspie as a disability-they recognize aspie as socially awkward and unaccepted even though their talent for writing usually surpasses those who aren’t aspie.

Those who write but lack the social gene to promote themselves is the reason so much garbage gets made in Hollywood. Poor storytellers have talent in promoting themselves. That’s why so many good writers are poor.

Handicap is not always visable. And that is ok. But it would be great that for certain tipes of people who have been trough the pain, stigma, and particular disability should be prioritized for sceantios or acting. If anythimg their input if not actual acting would be the best.

Being blind myself, I wouldn’t mind a little more representation for those with disabilities, but I enjoy each story on its own merit without thinking about whether it reflects any disability, or any other criteria.
